Starting from the original idea of a Vietnamese company that wants to bring traditional handicrafts into the international markets, we founded FDV in 2002.
Over the difficulties of the early days, FDV has gradually affirmed its name in the domestic and export market.
Today, FDV has become a member of the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), a member of the Vietnam Handicraft Industry Association (Ho Chi Minh City), and is certificated by Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In the field of lacquer art, FDV has been honored to become one of the members of the Executive Committee of the Binh Dương Lacquer and Sculpture Association – with the desire to develop traditional lacquerware villages.
In the process of development and growth, we always keep in mind that: “Companies must take the lead in bringing business and society back together.” We founded the FDV on the passion for traditional arts and the love for handicraft artisans in Vietnam. For us, profit is the success of the business associated with the development of the community.
We create jobs for traditional craft villages, bring creative space to talented artisans, find opportunities for traditional Vietnamese products to perfect themselves and penetrate new international markets by reaching high standards and criteria. By using materials from excellent natural resources in Vietnam, we are able to build a green business and produce eco-friendly products.
We always believe that the competitiveness of a company and the health of the surrounding communities are closely intertwined. And we see this as our mission. We see that developing a successful company is not just a goal but a responsibility. We have a responsibility to be a strong business to bring more value to the community and society.
